Mission Statement
The mission of the Eagle Foundation is to help exceptional young men and women achieve their full potential and to prepare them to become effective future leaders, committed to making the world a better place. Each Eagle scholar is required during his or her undergraduate years to develop sound leadership skills by achieving high academic success as well as significant leadership roles in major university and local community organizations.
Founded by the Ditri family in 1994, the Foundation is dedicated to promoting and encouraging the leadership potential in our country's youth. In addition to financial assistance, each scholar goes through a rigorous program of annual goal setting, monthly written reports on progress toward achieving those goals and monthly interaction with a mentor to ensure continuing discipline and focus. This ongoing support throughout the four years helps ensure continuing success and growth. The young scholar learns to believe in themselves, develop confidence and enthusiasm to continue to strive to excel to be the best.
